Property power plants

The acquisition of a solar power plant reduces electricity procurement costs, provides a stable return on invested capital and demonstrates your company’s commitment to responsibility.

A property power plant is an excellent investment: it typically has a payback period of 5–7 years and a lifespan of more than 35 years. The return on invested capital is secure and predictable.

Installing a solar power plant on your property is not only an economic decision – it is also an environmental one. For example, a 150 kWp plant will reduce carbon dioxide emissions by more than 21,000 kilograms per year. Furthermore, solar power increases the value of the property and makes it more attractive to both customers and tenants.

Property power plants can be implemented as roof, wall or ground installations. The system is designed so that as much of the electricity produced as possible is used directly for the property’s own consumption.

Oomi Solar power plant

Oomi Solar’s solar power plants entail special attention to fire safety and the power plant’s rack solutions, which keep the customer’s roof intact throughout the power plant’s life cycle. Oomi Solar power plants allow roof maintenance without dismantling the plant.

“Reliability and quality. These two aspects are the basis of the solar power plant cooperation between Oomi Solar and S Group,” says Maija Henell, Managing Director of S-Voima. Oomi Solar has built around 160 industrial-scale property power plants for S Group.

Oomi Solar’s solid ownership base ensures a secure investment throughout the entire life cycle of the system, as the company is owned by large public energy companies. The warranty periods for the materials used in our property power plants are up to 30 years. We are confident in our ability to meet our guarantees and obligations now and in the future.

Procurement models to suit every business

We offer systems as direct purchases, as well as on a PPA and leasing basis. In a power purchase agreement, the solar power plant is built into Oomi Solar’s balance sheet, and we are responsible for the plant’s operation throughout the agreement period. At the end of the agreement period, the power plant is transferred to the customer’s balance sheet. At that point, the power plant has more than half of its life cycle remaining.

Effortless and easy turnkey delivery. Oomi Solar is responsible for the entire procurement process from planning to implementation.

Our solar power plant maintenance and upkeep service keeps your systems running safely and makes sure that output is as expected. We offer a maintenance and monitoring agreement for the entire life cycle of the power plant.

With a PPA, the property owner does not have to invest in the purchase of the system. The customer pays for the electricity generated by the solar power plant, always paying less than what it would cost to purchase it from the grid.

Under a lease agreement, the solar power plant is implemented without the customer’s own capital at a fixed rent. This procurement model generates positive cash flow right from the first year.
